Back in 2008, Robin and Michelle Lopez traded spreadsheets and propulsion schematics for sawdust and sunshine. Robin, a former Lockheed Martin engineer with an aerospace degree (and a knack for inventing), saw a chance to combine his problem-solving skills with a passion for creative design. That spark led to Summertime Deck & Dock, a family-run company with a reputation for blending innovative ideas with practical craftsmanship.

"My husband and I can't say enough good things about Robin, Alex, Michelle and crew at Summertime Deck and Dock. From the free estimate to completion of the job the whole experience was exceptional. We hired Summertime Deck and Doc to repair a second story balcony on our home. Their workmanship, professionalism, communication skills and swift but thorough completion of the job was better than we could have hoped for. All for a fair price. The fact that they are well insured was another plus in our decision to hire them. We would not hesitate to hire them again, or refer them to friends and family. We only wish they did more than dock and deck work! Our job was a small one for them, but they never treated it, or us, like it was a small job. Thanks to you all!"

"We love Summertime! They did our dock build a few years back, but came just last week to cut the boat slip bigger for our boat. Both times they have been so great with communication and excellent work, that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Our dock was also completely flooded out a few years ago during a hurricane, and they came quickly and made one small adjustment. Other than that, it held up amazing through the hurricane!"
